Cleaning the Air Fryer

Proper cleaning of your Air Fryer is very important to keep all the parts of the machine in good condition. This will also prevent food contamination whenever you are using your Air Fryer. To guide you on how to clean the different parts of your Air Fryer properly, simply follow the instructions below.

Steps in Cleaning the Air Fryer Heater:

1. Open the drawer of your Air Fryer and take out the basket and the pan.
2. Put your Air Fryer in an upside down position.
3. In a spray bottle, make a cleaning solution by mixing 100 ml of water with 3 g of baking powder.
4. Spray the cleaning solution onto the accumulated dirt around the Air Fryer heater. Let stand for about a minute. Put your Air Fryer back to its upright position. Let sit for 30 minutes. Do this step twice.
5. Meanwhile, clean the basket and the pan.
6. Once ready, put the pan and the basket back into the Air Fryer.
7. Add 400 ml of water into the pan to gather dirt emanating from the top part of your Air Fryer.
8. Set the Air Fryer at 200 C (400 F) for 20 minutes.
9. Open the Air Fryer drawer, take out the basket and the pan. Then, allow the Air Fryer cool.
10. Turn your Air Fryer in an upside down position again.
11. Using a clean kitchen towel, wipe off any baking powder residue or dirt from your Air Fryer heater gently. Alternatively, you can use a small brush or cleaning sponge. Don’t use a steel brush to clean the parts of your Air Fryer.
12. Return to an upright position.
13. Place your Air Fryer on a clean countertop.
